Great atmosphere, and the tapas reminded us of being in Spain. The wines were chosen from Spain & Portugal, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Barcelona wine bar and tapas in West Hartford, CT is the best! If you go there sit at the bar where you will receive the best service there is. Nikki and Amanda are the best bar tenders in the center and are extremely attentive, fun and professional. Anytime I am in West Hartford I stop there and I am never disappointed because Amanda and Nikki are excellent at what they do. That establishment is very lucky to have such dedicated professionals. Thank you ladies for all that you do.

Update: we decided to try this restaurant again. Indoors is still extremely loud. We were seated outside tonight. The music was still loud but I was able to hear a conversation. Food and wine were both excellent and the wait staff were very professional.

Too Loud, not conducive to conversation and food bland. We have visited before and loved this restaurant and we've had increasingly disappointing experiences with tonight's being the worst. We don't plan to ever return.

John was an amazing server!! He took the time to help create a “special,” and clearly labeled menu for two of the members of our parties with food allergies. We will definitely be returning thanks to John!!

Food was solid but nothing to write home about. Not really authentic spanish, name only kinda thing.
Service was ok they came dropped plates and occasionally refilled water.
Not the greatest sanitation in the bathroom, saw a lot of drain flies all over that tell me their cleaning protocols are subpar.

Two months ago, I made a takeout order for my family. I discovered that a few items were missing. After contacting the restaurant, the manager were extremely helpful. I was credited for those missing items.

Recently, my family visited the restaurant, and enjoyed an amazing meal. The courtesy that my family received from the restaurant staff was so unexpected. Barcelona's staff made the restaurant experience so special, almost outweighed the quality of the food. Anyone who wants a great overall experience should make their way to Barcelona. A class act!

The food was delightful, and the staff was amazing. I didn't know how to order or what to expect. Olivia and the manager had no problem explaining the menu to us. At the end, our party of three left full and happy. Add another star to the service category.
The bill was less than I expected. It was a very nice experience. ?

Parking: Drove down the street and parked free on the street in front of the church.

Amazing as always. Great server with great suggestions for pairing wine with food to create a lovely date night dinner experience. Food was local, fresh and came out fast. Everything was of pristine quality and is exactly what I have come to expect. This is one of my favorite locations and is a lovely treat for a date night or even dinner to catch up with friends.

Good array of tapa choices, I'm not vegetarian but many vegetarian options. Our waiter was great. Bread is the best as usual!
