Been to cheshire birdcode few times and it was great. Went today and got takeout sandwich and chicken tenders no spice on anything says the receipt. Get home and both are so spiced you can smell it and inedible. Takeit all back to the manager and be agreed they accidentally used the wrong spice. No harm no foul and they remake it and off we go. Get home and it’s literally the same level of spice and have to throw it all away. 2 trips 40 min total driving time plus 25 min wait for food and it’s all in the garbage. unacceptable

In reviewing food wise I ordered this a few yrs back fries and some pieces of chicken…. To my disappointment the fries were over cooked and the chicken seemed like it was battered in pure salt never again

Best chicken place ever!!! When I walked into the door I was greeted by Navier, He was so helpful and great telling be all about the menu and his recommendation of the pink lemonade was 100% correct it was so good. The chicken was even better and definitely way better than dave’s hot chicken. Also the wait was very short and food was very good, Then for desert I got the Banana Pudding, might’ve been the best i’ve ever had. I 1000% recommend this place and will definitely go again.
My brother has been telling me about Birdcode for a couple years and I live about an hour away and im not usually nearby so when my girlfriend and I were actually in the area yesterday we decided to try it. I was blown away with everything about my experience. The food was simple and really good. The waiter Chris was friendly and honest/ up front about everything and it made our experience so much better. We dont usually talk to others in resteraunts but we were having a conversation with some of the other patrons about their food and ours. One final note, Get the banana pudding. It is a delightful end to the meal. 5 stars, would totally recommend, will be back. I hope they put a location in Eastern CT.

Ordered take out here and already my drink was handed to me cracked and leaking. Food tasted okay at first then later got food poisoning. Couldn’t have solid foods for awhile…..
