Bonchon West Hartford

Dinner at Bonchon West Hartford was a flavor-packed experience! The Korean fried chicken were perfectly crispy, juicy, and coated with a rich glaze that had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The soup noodle was hot, flavorful and full of depth—just what you want to start a meal. Pair all that with friendly service and a lively, welcoming vibe, and you have a place I’ll definitely be coming back to!

I got the wings with yangnyeom sauce and an bao buns with pork belly for takeout. I intended to go home but I had a couple of wings and a bun in the car. The wings are double fried with a light coating. While they were crunchy they were not meaty and the chicken was tasteless. The tasty yangnyeom sauce is sweet with a little heat. The bao buns with pork belly were very good. The bun was soft and the pork portion was large and crispy. The cucumber was cool and went well with the hot pork. The sauce was mild but flavorful. I will return to try the other items on the menu but I'll never order the wings again.

I’ve been coming to this location for 2 years, today is national wing day, it says online that EVERY bonchon location is doing 5$ for 5 wings. I asked why they aren’t doing it , they said no location is doing no it, I called every other ct location & they were ALL doing it. They were very rude and nasty, I will never be coming here again.

I ordered the Seoul sampler the fried chicken and potstickers were good phenomenal even; but The kimchi tasted spoiled and trust me I know what good taste like. Also, the coleslaw tasted Spoiled, Like it’s been out off the refrigerator for hours. The proportions are way too small. The Seoul sampler cannot feed 2 to 3 people. That is a damn lie.

Bibimbap, I tried it on last Friday, due to the weather (?), i smelled and tasted rotten vegetables in the bibimbap. I couldn’t finish it.

This place is so good!!! They have great meals and it is not expensive at all. My fiancée and I were full after ordering 2 meals, an appetizer, and we only paid $40. The service is outstanding. It was our first time there and the server walked us through the whole menu and even made some recommendations - which were amazing! We will definitely be going again. They also do great lunch specials. For example, you can get 9 small boneless wings and a cup of white rice for $13. Food was 10/10, atmosphere is definitely good (a lot of takeout orders so that was kind of annoying to deal with) but we sat down to eat and the service was great. We enjoyed ourselves and will be going again!

I absolutely LOVE Bonchon❣️ The food is consistently delicious…and a great menu to choose from. I especially enjoy the fried Shu mai and Korean Fried Chicken Tacos. The servers are wonderful…do yourself a “flavor”and try it!

Delicious food with a decent amount of variety. I always love seeing what flavors of soju or sake they have as well. Service has been on point and the restaurant has been clean every time I've went. Also reasonably priced for a dine in option. I've never had to wait for a table either and I've gone in for both lunch and dinner

Now i had 10 wings, which was PHENOMENAL (cold/hot), sheesh 😋🥴. Then i had chicken fried rice. It was soooooo tasty. I have to say that their signature "Soy Garlic" sauce is top tier and so damn addictive. I wish it was bottled and sold, uggghhh 🥺 10 out of 10 every visit.
