The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and well priced. There are several different breads to choose from for your breakfast sandwich. They staff is friendly and I'll definitely be going back when I'm in town !

I mean. This is my neighborhood bakery. I really want to love coming here, I just don’t know why whenever I walk in and a participate person is at the counter, she greets the people before with warmth and generosity and her face completely drops when she serves me. This has been for years. Really. It’s strange, today my husband experienced it with me. I guess I have to find another place to go.

Attitude and mediocre pastries. Will never go again. Asked a few questions because absolutely nothing is labeled or priced and received attitude in every response. Way overpriced, more than double what you pay anywhere else. Old dirty place, looks like they just sweep around the dirt on the floor at the end of the day. Save your time and money - it’s better spent at a place that is friendly and welcoming to customers.

Elmwood has the best pastries and donuts around. Their pastries are huge and they hae so many varieties of donuts to choose from. Their service is always amazing. They have a variety of scone flavors (not at all dry), danishes, etc. None of the pastries are dry and they have a lot of flavor especially for the size of them. Each bite has a burst of flavor. If you really can't decdie what you want, just have a look at their amazing counter so you can check out what options they have before you make your purchase. You cannot go wrong! If you have a big order, just amke sure you call in advance!

Hours have changed recently sometimes it's not convenient especially on Sundays they are now and when you're going to dinner at somebody's house you really would like to stop by somewhere and bring dessert. Fruit pies are OK quite honestly crust could be more fluffy and light. I do like their bread but unless you are in the morning there's a good chance you won't find it later in the day. Hard rolls are usually very hard by mid afternoon and quite honestly not worth buying order them fresh in the morning pick them up early so you can have them at home and a sealed container. I love their Cardiamond bread but order in advance as well as their carrot cakes. Just make sure that you ask for a lighter frosting some of the frosting is earthquake sweet and heavy. They're kind of missing that special touch they used to have

The place seemed clean, but there was a line of old women in front of us that were taking way too long to order and the woman behind the counter was taking forever to accommodate everyone and did not tell them to get wait in line like everyone else.
