Service is incredible, informative, and warm. When I went in for the first time I felt right at home- beautiful decor, vibe, and music going. Then I got to talking with Dottie and she taught me a lot! She will be super honest with you and help you find something that’s right for you.
You can also tell she doesn’t compromise the integrity of her natural products with any kind of nonsense, and I have the utmost respect for that. She’ll give you samples while she preps your order and you’ll walk out feeling ready to shine brighter than ever!
Parking: There were plenty of spots available on both sides of the street.“

“Ajamo is a solid lunch spot in Hartford. I long for the days when the food court was packed with options, and I’m happy to see this place is one of the great food stands that are still going strong at the State House. They serve very fresh salads at generous proportions and have good sandwiches as well. The only critique I’d have is that their lettuce/kale, roasted chicken, and other ingredients are in large chunks and they don’t provide a knife to cut it in smaller pieces. Their flavors are great, but it would be great to have a grilled chicken option in addition to the roasted.“

“Overall, great experience. Some of the best acai bowls around. Two things to work on:
1. Sometimes the açaí can be a little too frozen and can be hard to eat. Consistency is key.
2. I requested that the Nutella be placed under the fruit so it doesn’t clump to the lid. That was missed in the order.“

“Recently moved to Weatogue, have been wanting to try Rush Bowls after seeing their FB posts (everything they post looks amazing). Seeing as it was our first time there, the young woman that waited on us was very helpful, explaining things, etc. I ordered the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bowl and my husband got the Berry Fresh Bowl. Both were delicious and very filling! Picked up a bag of the Rush Bites (rolled in coconut), I’m sure those will be amazing! We’ll definitely be back!!!“
