New Taste of China is my favorite take-out Chinese restaurant in West Hartford. Their food is great, and so is their staff. Highly recommend ordering from here.

Today was my first time ordering from this resturant, I ordered general Tso chicken and as I was eating the chicken I pulled a long hair out of the chicken, and half of the hair got stuck in it?

Ordered shrimp fried rice with broccoli and shrimp garlic sauce and they delivered vegetable rice and no garlic sauce! What a disappointment! I called the restaurant and they suggested to move the rice around that perhaps the shrimps are embedded deep down the rice. What a joke.!!! After five minutes on hold, the manager decided that I needed to speak to the third-party in order to get a refund. Terrible service! Will not be ordering again.

Nasty guy I saw him after the health department throw away some egg rolls in the garbage because they we're not at the right temperature after the lady from the health department left the owner ken pick them up from garbage and he make a comment saying when they get in to the deep fryer all germs will be killed.nasty we are not in China to eat garbage

Decided to stop in and try for the first time and the food was actually delicious and did not taste old like other Chinese take out! The lady in the front is so sweet and welcoming truly made the experience even better she even gifted my daughter a little cake! I would definitely go back.
