Ocho Cafe - West Hartford

Have been ordering delivery from Ocho for years now, but recently dined in for the first time. The food is consistently one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area, and is consistent every time I've ordered and is somehow even better in person. Highly recommend (border nachos are my favorite).

I ordered cheese enchiladas from Ocho Cafe through Doordash on Sept. 19, 2025 and paid extra money to add chicken. When the order was delivered, there was no chicken. I called Ocho Cafe to ask if they could fix it, and the woman said that their system shows that I only ordered cheese enchiladas, there was no indication I added chicken, and that they do not permit customers to add chicken. She said I need to contact Doordash. While I was mid-sentence, trying to explain that the app states that you can add chicken, she hung up. Not sure if she was lying and she realized the restaurant made a mistake but refused to admit it, or what the explanation for her behavior is, but the the customer service was terrible. I regret tipping $5 on a single lunch order of enchiladas. The enchiladas were ok, very mid. Very average. Would not eat here again. Do not recommend.

I saw this location on instagram reels and had the had the highest of hopes. The food was amazing but the waitress was awful…do better ocho….🤧😔

Had a great experience. Staff from the front desk to the wait staff to the person who makes the guacamole at the table were all great. The Mangolada was not just super cute but also delicious.

Delicious food, great service, and great atmosphere. Best food and service I’ve had in a while and was a great surprise. All workers looked active and attentive not only at our table but at other tables as well. Would highly recommend to others.

I spent $78 dollars on 8 tacos streak tacos the steak was horrible and it wasn’t cooked well and the meat had no taste. Never again . I asked the manager how much were the tacos he said over $7 each and because I added cheese and lettuce that was ridiculous so each taco was about $9 because of cheese and lettuce

The food was delish and came out really quickly! The table side guacamole was fabulous, and the Dragon Margarita was terrific!

Had a wonderfully delicious meal here. Enjoyed my peach margarita also. I had chicken & shrimp fajitas. The black beans were tasty. Our waitress Sonya was wonderful. Would definitely go back & would recommend!
