Shake Shack West Hartford

The service was fine, and the atmosphere was okay. However, there was a very hard piece of meat in my 14-dollar triple cheese burger sandwich that disgusted me. I didn’t even want it redone; I just left it out because of the nasty taste and the disgusting food.

I think the staff should better coordinate the timing of orders. I placed my order at 5:55 p.m. and arrived at Shake Shack around 6:00 p.m. When I got there, I saw that my shake was already sitting on the shelf. I asked if I could take the shake first so I could give it to my family members who were waiting in the car, but my request was denied.

I didn’t receive my complete order until 6:20 p.m. By then, the shake had essentially turned into milk because it had been sitting out for about 20 minutes. I asked if they could remake it, and they did. However, I could see that the new shake was ready, yet I still waited another five minutes before anyone brought it to me.

It didn’t seem like the restaurant was short-staffed. The bigger issue appears to be how orders are managed. If a shake is going to sit on the shelf for 20 minutes, it should either be kept refrigerated or made closer to the time when the burgers are ready. Customers should receive the food and drinks they paid for in the condition they’re meant to be served.

The sandwich was lovely but the strawberry lemonade was divine!

Employees just stand around while you're waiting for your food or if your doordasher you're waiting to pick up your order. Milk products are just sitting out in the open not knowing how long they're sitting there at this location. The employees every single one of them are rude they will throw your bag on the counter. Not gentle whatsoever. If I could I'd have it so this would not have any stars. Can't trust the food because they leave food product out in the open without any sanitary coverings. Sat there for 20 minutes with waiting for my food and I witnessed all that

0 stars the foods not great, I forgot they make you the cashier despite paying a premium and its more challenging and frustrating at Hartford traffic to navigate. I came in with my son who had pooped and I had to run around and get a code for the bathroom. When I showed up there was a couple complaining the sign says hot dogs but they aren't on the menu and the worker goes im new idk I dont think we have them but we could. I couldn't give them money. Next door at hot table panni it didn't feel like a freeway gas stop and I had a enjoyable meal with my son. Trash shack 😒
