Taqueria La Grande (West Hartford)

I am editing my review because - the last several times I've bought take out from this place they have skipped out on key ingredients. I just got a burrito with just overcooked steak, rice and lettuce. that's it - no cheese, no avocado, no beans. I almost think they know my name and skip ingredients when i order recently.

It's a small but cozy place, prices are a little over the top but great food 🙂 the service is great and the ladies there are friendly. Keep up the good work and hospitality.

super disappointed . lady was touching everything then plating food with no gloves . when I corrected her she proceeded to talk crap in spanish and laugh not knowing I know spanish . the guy asked them to remake it which was nice but food has no seasoning what so ever .

Polite staff and good food. I had the tamales (both chicken and beef) and chose rice and beans as my side. Birria tacos looked amazing! I want to come back for sure to try more

It was my second time there and it was my first time having sopes and it was delicious!

I would always pass this place and atmosphere looked very authentic and welcoming. Tonight I invited my gf for dinner.
Ordered drinks, chips and salsa and entrees.
2 mins later, entree comes to the table. Drinks showed up 10mins later. Salsa and chips never showed up.
Not to mention those $14 margaritas is a complete rip off.
Wanted to support small local shop but wont be back anytime soon.

Best authentic tacos in the area, friendly staff. Home-made corn tortillas and delicious protien options. Do not miss out on the Tres Leches!

Best food in the whole entire world and space and universe

If you want real authentic Mexican food, then you have to visit this place. The food is always fresh and hot when you pick it up and it will leave you feeling satisfied. Hands down a great restaurant with great food.

The food is delicious, but the waitresses are so rude they almost kicked me out of the place.

I ordered a quesadilla with shrimp online to pick up on my way home from a busy day. It was chock full of shrimp & veggies!
So delicious! The place is clean, well organized, fast prep & easy parking. People who work there are very pleasant.
I'm pleased.

All the food ever might need is a touch of salt which is always at the tables. Clean simple, couple nice sauces. Kind staff, clean place. Just everything you want in traditional Mexican food.

I ate here last night with my Mom when we were in town visiting for a concert. The food was great. The bathroom was clean. The booth was comfortable. And the man working the front was friendly. I'm glad I chose this place for our dinner. I had three chicken tacos (with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa) and a dulce de leches cake (the cake was amazing) and my Mom had a chicken burrito, a pudding, and a soda. The entire meal was $40.
