Great service , nice to see this change! Keep it up. Kelly, the host, was professional, customer focused and help me bring my large party together. Our waitress was also excellent, she was attentive and took care of us. We had a great time.

The restaurant was solid the food did not blow me away. The jerk chicken nachos needed guacamole, and sour cream they were dry. The waitress at the bar was extremely pleasant however the drinks didn't hit the mark. Cadillac margaritas is a complicated drink that needs to be mastered to perfection. Russell the owner was warm and easy to speak with. I love that the restaurant is Black owned, we will visit again. Thank you for a great time.

Overall I like the Russell. I ordered the calamari, it was almost cold and had more peppers than calamari, but the flavor was good. I also ordered the yucca fries but they needed some Jamaican love. The best thing on the table was the pasta which was hot and flavorful. The atmosphere was elegant, classy and casual at the same time. The wait staff was extremely attentive and helpful. We were greeted upon arrival by the hostess - this was the icing on the cake.

The Russell is def your go to spot for good Jamaican cuisine and a grown vibe. Their food and drinks is served instagramable but tastes just as good as it looks. They have cute back drops for all your pictures. Staff is attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean and in a nice area downtown. Make the Russell your girls night spot or bring your date here !

The food was delicious, atmosphere very nice. Reminded me of an old speak easy. The waitress was great. I gave her a 3 because I ordered the Jerk Chicken and she served me the Fried Chicken. I didn't send it back because it was delicious. Crispy breading and very flavorful. Drinks are delicious. Great place to go with some friends.

Had a good time. Rum punch tower was good and left us with a good buzz. Food was good. Would come back for brunch again!

The food was good as usual, just very slow service. The restaurant wasn't as busy earlier on but I felt like we were always looking for our waitress. We had a good time, despite the delayed service. We had the ackee and saltfish, jerk bbq nachos, and shrimp appetizer. All 3 were good. For my entree I had the brown stewed snapper, also good but way too much rice and barely any plaintain with it.

We love it!! Great place for my family and I. The food is delicious and the people that work there are nice.

Pleasant staff. Very good and flavorful food. Had the peppered steak with rice and cabbage. Very delicious.

Food was good except for the fact that the gave me a plate of bone no meat on the oxtail and then charged me for chicken when i ordered no chicken and only realised i was charged for something i did not order and was not in my meal the day after also had their beef patties that was good no issues with the patties. Did not bother call them for a refund as i realised the charge the day after and they would most likely deny the fact.

Such a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT for completely OVERPRICED dish. I ordered the pepper steak. I paid 29.71 for ONE plate!!! The portion size was laughable for the price I paid and the food was bland! Never have I eaten Caribbean food that was so expensive and gross! NEVER AGAIN will I go there! Such a waste of time and money.

OMG! So went in to see what they had on the menu and I'm happy I did. I order the Jerk Shrimps and the Buffalo Wings with a Pineapple Ginger drink and it was delicious. Little to spicy for me but it was very flavorable. Indeed recommend this spot you will not be disappointed. They are very friendly and professional attentive and very organized. The place also have a full bar 🍺. Indeed will go again.
