Cheerful waiter and delicious food - the restaurant came well recommended and lived up to its billing. It was too loud when we got there, but quieted down by dessert. We're looking forward to returning.

We came here for dinner on a whim. The pork belly appetizer was delicious. However, we waited a long time to get our entrees tables sat all around us ate and left before we finally got our order. The hanger steak was a very small portion for $38.00. The salmon entree was average flavor wise. Overall, the entrees were disappointing given the limited menu, prices, lack of flavors and excessive wait this won’t be a dinner option for us in the future.

We always enjoy going to the union kitchen restaurant. Everything is excellent- from the food -to the service -to the location -to the great Wine knowledge of Vish, the general manager and Wine Sommelier! We will return!!

love a good Gastro pub and Union Kitchen did not disappoint. Truly wonderful and friendly staff. genuinely nice people which is a refreshing surprise. The food was excellent. Stuffed Queen Olives and Whipped Ricotta toast were incredible. main courses Shrimp and Scallop risotto and the Lobster Rigstoni arrabbiata could stand up to some of the best italian and seafood restaurants. Atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. would definitely visit again.

The brunch was delicious! The egg sandwich was so good.. and my husbands chicken sandwich was also delicious. And the fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. It was quite the treat! Oh and my Mimosa was really good too. Berkley, our server was fantastic and paid attention to us even though she was very busy. We will definitely return....

Our party showed up a little early for our reservation and had an extra guest, which the hostess was happy to accomodate. I liked the dim lighting and relaxed atmosphere. Cool spot to unwind after work. Our waiter was nice, efficient but I did think it took longer than I'm accustomed to have our orders taken and for food to come out. It was worth the wait though. I ordered the whipped ricotta toast and it didn't disappoint, just sorry that I “had” to share it with the table. The duck breast was phenomenal too. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself coming here regularly. Overall, our group was satisfied!
I was not informed that Union Kitchen had a limited fixed price menu on Valentines Day. Many other people were surprised when they showed up as well. I would not have made the reservation if I had known that, but it was obviously too late to get a reservation elsewhere on Valentines Day when we were informed at the door.

The service was great. I ordered the shakshuka, which tasted good, but was an unacceptably small size for an entrée. I certainly don't expect or want a mountain of food. But two eggs and one toasted pita quartered sure feels like an odd decision. Three eggs feels pretty standard. It surprised me as an odd menu item to skimp on given how cheap the dish is to compose. I'd return in the future, but I wouldn't pay ~20 bucks for what is essentially two eggs in tomato sauce and a slice of toast.

Food was ehh. Risotto was dry and pasty. Filet was gray in color and over cooked. Waiter was great but never asked us how it tasted! Very expensive dinner for eh quality execution. Sauces were good and well seasoned. Little disappointed in myself for not sending a $50 med rare order and med well received filet back to the kitchen. Bad on me. Update: Union Kitchen reached out to me to fix the issue. They took my concerns seriously and offered a resolution. I'm impressed with their follow through. I will go back and try again. Thank you Union Kitchen.

Great experience. Pot roast, salmon, and calamari: excellent. Service: prompt and friendly. Cocktails and “mocktails”: creative options and well-crafted. All food and drinks were nicely presented.
