Went in on a Wednesday for a business meeting with 3 partners, we sat at the bar to have a drink, the bartender Emma was a delight. She was friendly with such a warm personality. There was a young man filling the cooler with bottles of beer who joined the conversation, we stayed longer than expected and I will be back with my wife. Took the family to Halfway for my wife's birthday on a Monday night. The place was near empty except for a few patrons at the bar, and we sat ourselves. There was only one server, but she was fantastic.We had the burrata as the appetizer (which I pretty much ate all by myself). The burrata was creamy, tomatoes were excellent. Went out for a night in WeHa / West Hartford. Drinks are strong. Bartenders are efficient serving up the crowd. It was pretty busy while we were there. The bar itself is really open, which is nice for large crowds and dancing. There was a live band playing; they were just average. Bathrooms were what you'd expect for a busy downtown bar.Didn't try any food so unable to comment on their menu!
