Food was great. We started with oysters, parkerhouse rolls and zucchini app. The zucchini was the stand out! Second time I've had the bass and it didn't disappoint...so tasty. My husband had the steak frites and it was cooked to perfection. Also a generous portion. Our friend had the salmon and said it was very good and my son had the burger. Said it was good but nothing special.
Small family dinner gathering here midweek. Our waitperson was awesome; with the chef she helped one of us to safely navigate around a peanut/tree nut allergy. Our meal was uniformly enjoyable and delicious. I recommend the cheddar rolls, burrata with stone fruit medley appetizer, steak frites entree, and chocolate chip bread pudding.
I just had the best beet salad ever. Each ingredient made the whole dish a triumph. The vinaigrette should be bottled and sold. The beets were fresh and perfect texture. The goat cheese was the right amount and great creaminess. I don't live in Hartford but if I did, I would be here once a week enjoying this salad.
The rest of our meals where also on point. The shakshuka and cheddar rolls were yummy!
