I go to Zaytoon's Bistro frequently. I enjoy the eclectic menu and the staff are both gracious and always make you feel like your family.
The rice pudding ? is the bomb and a great way to coddle your stomach after a long day at work.

Took at least an hour to get our food and when we DID get it, it tasted like poo poo. The rice tasted as if a rat went inside the rice cooker with abhorrent spices. The chicken was alright. The lamb shank was alright as well. The only thing they did get RIGHT was the hummus. This place was such a letdown after seeing the reviews and pics. Seems like the only way to get good service is to know the owner. Also, on a Friday night, this place was somewhat empty. A red flag.

This place used to be so good. My most recent orders from Zaytoon's have been "meh". They changed the fatoush salad - it used to have crispy pita, fresh herbs, and a phenomenal lemony salad dressing. This time, I found a spoiled tomato and a swampy piece of lettuce - the romaine was cut unevenly into huge pieces, there were a few pathetic pita morsels, no fresh herbs, and a sweet balsamic dressing that tasted like it came out of a bottle. What's really good - the hummus. What's also good - the rice that comes with the platters.I will not be ordering from Zaytoon's again. It's not good.

Even if the food wasn't good, the service is a delight. A young girl seated us and waiting on us and was there for our every need. A lady, presumably the owner or someone as responsible, took our order and was able to make suggestions according to what we knew we liked. She even upsold me a dessert we didn't know we wanted and needed. The food was exactly what we wanted - healthful and flavorful and executed really well. The falafel was the most moist I had ever had and I hate to use the word fresh because of how it gets thrown around ..but everything was fresh and made in house. We're not from Connecticut, but we'll go out of our way to come back if we're coming down the road.

We had our Eid Al-Fitr lunch here. Our first mediterranean restaurant around here and it was a great experience. Little cozy restaurant, family-owned and friendly. Not crowded too which was nice so you could actually enjoy your food. The owners are super friendly and they approach their customers and ask about their food. If you like Arab food with a good ambiance, this is the place for you. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes!

Everything is perfect, kunefe surpassed everything, but they have really delicious food, I would like to congratulate the chef. It just needs an extra waiter. The current waiter is young, handsome and competent, but he needs an assistant.

Absolutely amazing food and the owner is so kind and lovely. I feel so bad that I don't remember her name, because she had remembered everything from our first conversation when we went back for the second time 9 months later!! We live pretty far away, otherwise would be there so much more often. Ask her opinion for what to get if you aren't sure, she has fantastic recommendations.

THIS FOOD IS AH-MAZING. I am visiting CT from Boston and have never had such well crafted food. Truly will miss this place when I head back. If you haven’t tried their food yet you are truly missing out. The staff cared so much about our experience and made me and my whole family feel welcome. Thank you SO

My fiancé and I came for dinner this weekend and it was absolutely scrumptious!! Where to start? The service was impeccable - we had two very kind servers who were attentive and so friendly. We were greeted & seated immediately. We requested to switch tables to be by the window and they quickly accommodated. Now, let’s talk about THE FOOD!!!! WOW!!! So fresh, so much flavor, and so. darn. DELICIOUS!We started with the spicy hummus with warm pita (so fresh and perfect spicy kick), my fiancé got the lamb gyro entree (grilled lamb over rice that came with a salad and he opted for fries - he basically stopped talking to me the moment he had the first bite to savor and enjoy) and I got the lamb tomato kofta sanyieh (to die for delightfulness). We love having lamb at any opportunity but sometimes worry about it being too gamey. Not here. Again, WOW! We savored each and every bite. I took half of mine home to have the next day and omg. Reminded of the amazing experience we had yesterday! It was a chilly Saturday but this restaurant deserves to be packed to the brim with how delicious the food is and the incredible hospitality and service provided. We cannot wait to come back to Zaytoon’s. If you are looking for scrumptious and mouth smacking delicious Lebanese food, I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!
