Food was excellent! Waitress was not. She was rude. Started off asking if they had Guinness, she "laughingly" said "This is an Italian restaurant". I've been to a hundred Italian restaurants, most had Guinness. It isn't what you say,it is how you say it. Later on, after not coming back with our water in a timely manner, she judgingly asked me if this was my second Aperol spritz. I did explain to the host what happened. We just ate lunch there. I’m very impressed and will definitely be back. My brother Robert has been in CT on Vacation over the last 3 months and this was his going home lunch. There were 8 of us and our server Jenny was incredible. She got all of the orders correct and kept checking in on us in an unobtrusive manner. A really enjoyable and memorable afternoon in Westport. Thank you.
Good food and the wait staff were very attentive. A bit cramped inside, but that's probably because it's a popular spot and I can't fault the ownership for maximizing their capacity. Be forewarned that there's a 3% surcharge automatically added to the bill for the kitchen workers. It's a bit deceptive as the surcharge line item is printed in Italian (not English).
