Perhaps this is one of those restaurants that has such a great location and setting that they don't have to try too hard. The service was just strange. The water guy was smirking and giggling (no joke evident) the waitress didn't know what type of fish the fish of the day was, they had 6 beer choices on the menu but only 4 actually available, we waited an hour for the mussels appetizer but then the mains came very quickly. Loved my 4th of July with my daughters here. What a view with the fireworks and the music bumping, great vibe. Food was great! Shout out to Jeff and Luis, thanks fellas! And Stella, so sweet to spend time and check on my girls. Merci beaucoup.
The food was very fresh and well-prepared. But the website is misleading because it emphasizes local seafood prepared to gourmet standards. There was only 1 fresh fish of the day--grilled Dorade fillet--which is NOT locally sourced. The crabmeat appetizer was very tasty and flavorful. This appears to be a family friendly restaurant with many young children welcomed. Menu includes pizza, fries, fried calamari, burgers, chicken, lamb chops and only one salad.
