Rive Bistro is a lovely, French restaurant on the river in Westport. We enjoyed a 'cousins' reunion at a spectacular farm table facing the river in all its beauty. Our server, Luis, was so attentive and yet, he allowed us to enjoy a slower pace with our lunch with family. We've been here many times and will definitely be back in the Fall.
Delightful evening for a celebratory event.....wedding anniversary. Staff was friendly and enthusiastic. Food options were extensive and well prepared. Oysters were crisp and fresh; beet salad was superb. Setting on the river is lovely and worthy of getting there early to make sure of being seated over looking the water; indoor seating appeared attractive in the event of inclement weather. Caroline was a gracious, entertaining, friendly and competent hostess.
We were greeted with kindness and warmth by the hostess/owner. The setting was lovely. We ordered and were served quickly. The tuna salad nicoise and escargot were excellent. We will definitely be back again!!
