“Max Burger is a good solid choice for burgers and salads. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and the staff friendly and accommodating.

The food is quite good with a nice selection of burgers along with protein alternatives like tuna and turkey. They also have vegan options should that be your jam. Salads a good but they have slowly gotten smaller over time. One can assume this is to keep profit margins solid. What is nice is they source from many local suppliers.

They offer a decent selection of drafts as well cocktails and NA selections.

“Cannot say enough good things about The Hollow. Whether you are a golfer or not the restaurant should be added to your regular rotation. The food is top notch, everything on the menu is fantastic. “First timer here. The atmosphere was awesome. Sat at the bar and watched motoGP. I ordered the brisket egg rolls and they FAR exceeded my expectations. Crispy crunch, sweet, salty, umami. It hit every taste bud on my tongue. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese and it was out of this world good. Perfectly balanced. Not too much bbq sauce, right amount of cheese and a nice crisp bread. The tater tots were perfectly fried and salted. They were so good we didn't even need ketchup. We will for sure be back.“

“Great Dairy Queen location – so happy to have one nearby!

I recently moved to Cobalt and was thrilled to find out there’s a Dairy Queen just 5 minutes from my house. When I lived in Hartford, the closest one was about 20 minutes away, so this is a big win.

The store is spacious, clean, well organized, and very inviting. We stopped by after a trip to pick up treats for myself, my husband, and our guests. As always, Blizzard treats are a hit and instantly make everyone happy.

If I had one small suggestion to make it perfect, it would be to enjoy the filling throughout the Blizzard, not just at the very end.

We arrived close to closing time for inside pickup (around 9:15 pm, with the lobby closing at 9:30 pm). I initially thought it closed at 10:00 pm based on Google, but that’s actually for the drive-thru. Even so, we were welcomed, treated kindly, and had a great experience.

I’m very happy to have this as our new local Dairy Queen and will definitely be back — and bringing more people with me.“

“23 bucks for a platter piled high with fries and strip clams. they fried the clams right and didn't skimp on the portion. The place is counter service, which I always appreciate as well. It is a little out of the way, and has a definite Independent proprietorship vibe of a place that's been around for a few decades, which I appreciate.
I would come back and bigly recommend it to anybody in the area, as far as shacks go, it's the best one I've been to in the Hartford area.“
