Disappointed for last time. Each time has gotten worse over the years. Less food, poor quality and increased prices. Now 2 children running register and paid too much for last time! Food was very cold. They used to take care to staple bag shut and all cooked at same time and hot! This time practically threw bag to me wide open. Crab raggoons were empty, flat and chewy. Only 2 thin veggie egg foo young patties used to be 3 thick ones. The peas were rock hard maybe freezer burnt or raw? Just can't afford to waste the money.
Response to your response Not even an apology and you give me a deadline to come back by 3pm today! To repeat the same order, repeat what had yesterday, really. That is rude and inconsiderate. 1. Do you see all the snow outside? I have to go out and clear my driveway, shovel steps etc and you give me a deadline to come back today having just seen this now! Plus have other obligations. So no I'm not going to meet your deadline.
2. I've watched your kids grow up and they are not old enough to be handling cash transactions alone nor should they be. While all the adults are yelling at eachother.
3. Times are tough not just for you and you appear to no longer appreciate the business as my above comment. I am sorry to post this but people need to know. You have declined over the years to this. Raising prices each time you reprint your menus while lowering quality and quanity.
4. You used to make good food, piping hot and my son loved your crab raggoons and was a holiday tradition for him wanting your Chinese food. To add no more brown rice too. Not anymore
This is a sad post as I have tried to remain a customer over these years. And your response to come back by 3pm today! It should be the customers choosing.

Nothing that was ordered came out correct, boneless ribs completely dry, GARLIC string beans came in a horrible hot sauce, got a replacement and it was sweet and sour sauce and the pork lo mein and rice dry and completely bland!! Not to mention nothing but attitude even though paid and TIPPED

Very dirty, the parking lot is cleaner. Old food was served to us with no flavor. The health department need to inspect. No costumer service skills very unprofessional and dismissive. Not to mention no washing hands and touching foods n serving other customers.

China Delight is the perfect choice for a delicious takeout experience. The ordering process is quick and easy, and the staff is friendly and efficient.
The food arrives beautifully packaged and still hot. The dumplings is a must-try. It's perfectly steamed and bursting with flavor. I went in at a slow time, I enjoyed the small talks and was given a sample for general tos chicken. They are a must try. Best chinese in winsted.

The food here is always delicious and fresh. By far the best Chinese restaurant in Winsted. China Delight is one of the very few places in this town I trust. The Restaurant is always clean, the food is made fresh, and this is one of the only places that hasnāt made me sick.

I decided to be very generous and give this place two stars. The food was average. The people there were rude. I ordered over the phone, and they were so dismissive and quick to get me off the phone. When I went to pick up my food, they had missed an entire meal that I ordered. I will never go here again. I'd rather drive the extra 10-15 minutes to go somewhere else than go back to this place. Also, after ordering over $50 of food, I asked for soy sauce and duck sauce, I was given 3 soy sauce packets and 2 duck sauce packets for over $50 worth of food. I recommend going there only if you have to, but if you have the means to go somewhere else, then definitely do so.
Delicious! Fresh, flavorful and tasty. Clean ingredients, never disappointed. The soup and crab rangoon are so delicious.

I have been going here since they opened. Always had wonderful food as well as great service. The owners really care about giving you a good food. I really enjoy everything about China Delight.
I love it there. Been at this Chinese restaurant since I was a child. This family owned restaurant really gives their heart to the food served. I am disabled and therefor unable to pick up my food and they have always been delivering it every Friday and Saturday night after 8. Their service is great! Not all restaurants have this service! Itās wonderful!
