Shah's Halal Food Winsted is a very good and delicious restaurant with authentic food. It offers large and reasonable portions, often enough for two meals. Dishes like the combo platter, lamb, chick peas, hummus, and rice are incredible, flavorful, and refreshingly healthy. The green sauce is amazing. The service is friendly, supportive, and kind, with staff who are apologetic when issues arise. The restaurant is also open late and provides catering. It is a great addition to the area, offering a unique and pleasant experience that is a welcome change from typical fast food. Many hope it survives in its location.
