“Rented a room at this place for my wedding after party. It was the perfect set up, wide open room with plenty of space for dancing and they even opened up the roll up doors so guests could sit outside if they wanted. Had a blast! Staff was very accommodating and even let us stay an hour past our scheduled timing. Very reasonable pricing too. Taylor was great to deal with coordinating this event, she understood our budget range and was able to make it work. Highly recommend hosting events there!“

“This small town either gets a place that thinks their gonna rule the world and putter out in 3 months, or they get a lasting addition that warmly welcomed into the community. This seems, and is hopefully, the latter of the two. The guy that was working the counter was patient, professional, and welcoming. He accommodated customers who had no idea how or what to order with that type of food, and adjusted flawlessly to those of us that have traveled and know what we like. I really appreciated this place, a chain that doesn't feel like a chain. Great experience.“

“Very nice experience. As a solo diner, ordering a pizza—as recommended—wasn’t practical for me, but the packed parking lot on a Thursday night was a great sign that the locals truly enjoy this place. The process is simple: place your order, then choose a table. A unique touch was receiving a playing card as my order number. I ordered the meatballs and Italian-seasoned wings, along with a house Cabernet. No Spirits here, but great selection of Barley pops and wine however. For an extra nickel, I received a refill token in the form of a casino coin—such a novel idea that I had to play along. The drink service lagged a bit, either because the restaurant was busy or because I failed to pick up my Cabernet at the counter. The meatballs arrived first: three large, flavorful meatballs served in a ramekin with marinara and melted cheese. I chose three meatballs with a side salad instead of four, and it was the perfect amount. The wings arrived shortly after I finished. I chose the Italian-seasoned, baked wings. They were very tasty, although I generally prefer fried wings—though the baked option was probably the better choice for me that evening. Overall, this was a very reasonably priced dinner, and I didn’t feel too bad passing on one of the amazing-looking pizzas. Torrington has clearly maintained the East Coast pizza tradition and reputation. A stop here won’t disappoint.“

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)“

Very personal locals and staff. Upbeat ..friendly vibe... Nostalgic historic decorations along the walls with flat screen TVs. Interesting artwork with a lot of history. Adds a nice flare as you look around. Very tastefully decorated... I would definitely come back and have brunch or dinner and just chill out... This is a very classy place in Torrington“

“First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“We had such a wonderful time here. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant and our experience! My son is the pickiest eater but after watching the chef my son started trying things and ate things he usually won’t. I was shocked! The food and the entire experience was top notch! We can’t wait to return. Don’t listen to petty people who like to complain. This was our second time and it was well with the 45 minute trip. “This is a smaller eatery with lots of character and great service. I had breakfast and ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 lightly scrambled eggs, also smothered in the sausage gravy. Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.“

“I actually like this place. Reminds me of back home. Cash is preferred. And the price ranges for lunch $7 to 9 dollars. My children love chicken wings with pork fried rice. That was around $8.50. But they give you 4 wings which is what I'm use too compared my local Chinese that give you on 6 pc for $7.80. I did take pictures of their menu because I was always hesitant to buy when I don't see menu on website. I believe they should update their system. We're in 2021?? either way I'm happy my local was close on Monday. Gave me a chance to try new food.“
