I’ve always loved this shop, but I have to admit that I am incredibly disappointed that they’ve removed pour overs as an option. Hoping they regroup and figure out a way to make this an option again.
Hidden in a 1800s house in downtown Windham (Willimantic), Common Grounds is a serious coffee shop. They don't offer a little bit of everything to everyone. They are serious coffee drinkers offering just a handful of carefully curated light food. I met a client there the other day and ordered breakfast and an espresso. Was on the road and needed some good coffee and breakfast. This place hit the spot. It's a small menu but I got a great latte for the road. And got a smoked salmon sandwich on an everything bagel. It didn't look like they make their bagels so I was skeptical but it was great. Inside was small and cute. And service was friendly and quick. Nice place.
