“Good food and convenient location”

“Pho Van truly lives up to its reputation—this place serves some of the best pho I’ve had in a long time. The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, clearly simmered for hours to develop that perfect depth. The noodles were soft but not soggy, and the meat—whether brisket, rare steak, or meatballs—was tender and delicious. Everything was served piping hot and with a generous portion of fresh herbs, lime, bean sprouts, and jalapeños on the side, just as it should be.

We also tried a few appetizers, and while they were solid, the pho is definitely the star of the show. If you're craving a comforting bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup, this is the place to go.

The only minor downside was that service was a bit slow, especially once we were seated—it took a little while before someone came to take our order, and refills were a touch delayed. That said, the staff was kind and polite, and once the food arrived, it more than made up for the wait.

The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and laid-back—nothing too fancy, but it doesn’t need to be when the food speaks for itself. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous.

Overall, Pho Van is a must-visit for pho lovers. The flavors are spot-on, the ingredients are fresh, and while service could be a bit quicker, the food is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back.”

“I love this restaurant. The food is always good and the female wait staff is great. The males, are on the rude side....one time throwing steak knives across the table when we requested them to cut our steaks. Every time we dine here, I am so annoyed with the lighting. Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience.”

“We booked The Tavern for our October 2021 wedding right before the pandemic hit. Throughout the entire planning process and hundreds of questions, Jasmine was always readily available via email or text up until wedding day (even when we became date twins). Everything came out beautiful, the set up for dinner and our ceremony was perfect! The grounds were perfect for our pictures. Everyone loved the appetizers during cocktail hour and our cake was delicious. We had a few mishaps during our dinner, but we didn’t let that fog the happiest day of our lives. Jasmine also quickly took action and made things right. They will likely be my go-to for other events because ours was greatly executed with the help of my in-laws, Lynne (sorry if I spelled it wrong), and Jasmine. My favorite thing about having them as our venue was that we didn’t have to clean up anything or set up anything. Lynne made sure things were arranged accordingly and brought my vision to life. Even when we had to create a back up plan because of weather Jasmine and Lynne helped to calm my nerves about the last minute changes.”

“I love the Bean, Mel is such an awesome community advocate and having this gem in the middle of town is one of the best thing about our center. Friendly, accessible sharing meeting and often long discussions brings the best out of who we are as a community. We are so fortunate to have her and her team there and now she owns the building. “I used to work here when I was in high school and came back to visit after 22 years and brought my family for the pizza, the pizza was cooked well, tasty and delicious like I remembered it.”

“This dining spot is located in the Marriott Hotel on Day Hill Road. After work, my guest and I stopped in for apps and drinks. We enjoyed the Point Judith Calamari and the wings.
The inviting atmosphere and excellent service make this dining experience a plus for business travelers. The menu is a little pricey but not out of line for 4-star hotels.

“My first time ordering from here. I was curious because I see so many people going in. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. It was already ready when I got there and it was still hot. The best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Everything taste fresh. Croissant was light and crispy. It was perfect!”
