We loved everything that they offered (hardo bread, beef patty, coco bread, plantain tart and so on). When I said we liked EVERYTHING, I mean it. Everything was on point!! Yesterday was my first time (and last time) going into Scott's in about a decade plus. It is clear that management has changed (if not management, something has gone horribly wrong). The shell of the patty was beyond thick and there was little meat in it. The coco bread was beyond disgusting! It was a flavorless clump of undercooked dough. You know how coco bread is supposed to taste. It didn't taste like that at all. It seems as though they've cut corners on their peanut punch which had a gell-like texture. The BEST part of everything that I purchased was the Cola Champagne. As long as they continue to use the same distributor they can't mess that up. Maybe they had a bad day. I won't be spending money to find out.“

“I have been going to Taste By Spellbound for years and followed them from Buckland Hills to the now South Windsor location. I have never been disappointed, the coffee is the best in the world, (and I've traveled the world) and the whiskey bars are to die for. I always buy them up whenever I'm lucky enough to get them. The staff is always incredibly polite and helpful and always makes me feel welcome. Everything from the employees to the pastries to the environment as a whole is one of a kind. I have sent many friends and clients to Taste by Spellbound over the years and everyone that I sent there has high praise. I love this place and look forward to visiting every week. I bought two and I eat them with my wife when I got home. they ate the best cinnamon buns I have ever had!! five stars but I do wish they had a way you cam order online. I assume based on other reviews that her name is Valentina - INCREDIBLE. She was working all alone this morning, and the customers just kept on coming in - and she kept doing what she does with a smile. She's always so incredibly kind, thoughtful, and clearly has quite a few regulars because she looked up multiple times to acknowledge those she knew, and orders she memorized from multiple interactions. I come here because of her - I cannot thank her enough.“

You never have a variety and everyone’s hands are all over the utensils, disgusting! The single pizza boxes are flimsy. Everyone at that counter is always complaining about it.“

They have fresh baked items in the bakery case daily that are priced reasonably, and their scones are THE BEST with great flavor and spot-on texture. Dining in, I always enjoy the Farmer's Benedict with a side of fresh baked sourdough toast. I prefer my eggs poached hard, and they gladly accommodate this request. “This place is great! The owner is very friendly & the coffees & baked goods are extraordinary. I was on a 1st date so the laid back casual atmosphere was perfect. We sat on the couch with our cappuccinos listening to soft music...we'll be back for our 1 yr anniversary in 2 weeks!“

“Wonderful customer service, excellent flavor. I needed a cake last minute for my sons birthday. She had it ready in just 1 day. Absolutely delicious. Most store bought cakes grown ups don't touch, but EVERYONE ate this cake up! Tres Leches chocolate cake with oreo crumbles and topped with whole oreos as well. Absolutely recommend Carmen and her delicious cakes and treats. We will be seeing her much more !“

Great tasting home made soups and plenty of pastries, cookies, and donuts for those who have a sweet tooth to satisfy. Another thing I like is they always have fresh coffee available here too. “I stopped here while in the area and decided to try a Soup Flight for $12 it came with 3 mini cups of soup ( New England clam chowder, tomato and sausage and kale ) with oyster crackers. Soup was delicious and very filling. Staff were helpful and friendly when trying to figure out what to order. Food tasted very fresh here too. For a drink my partner got Samocha iced latte which came with caramel, mocha, coconut, with coconut cold foam, and coconut Flakes. It was delicious! Definitely would grab coffee and or food when around this coffee shop again. This coffee shop is connected to Conn. valley brewing too. Plenty of parking also.“
