Delicious coffee but substandard bagels. I don’t think they come from the same vendor. The bagel I had was stale and disappointing. Seating is a problem. Tables are taken up by people with laptops who work or study. Many of the tables seat 4 but only one customer is at the table. They buy one coffee and stay all day. For those of us who want to relax and have a coffee with friends, there is no seating. The place down the street (West Egg) must be getting the overflow....
Lovely place. Sandwiches are delicious. Staff is very nice and work hard. My reason for 3-4 stars is the wait is terrible. I often go in for a delicious iced tea or coffee. The orders are filled in order they come in, regardless of what they are, even for a simple iced tea that just needs to be poured into a cup. There is usually 1 person handling drinks on Sundays and it is so ridiculous to wait 15 minutes for a drink that could be handled in 2-3 minutes. Not efficient at all!...
The bagels are yummy and made with the perfect amount of cream cheese. Last Sunday it took a good long while to get my order to-go. I don't recommend this place if you're in a hurry after church gets out. The last time I visited, I ordered the chai latte and it was absolutely awful (gloopy sugary powder at the bottom of the cup). For $5+ per small cup I expect actual tea made with real spices- look up a recipe, pre-mix a batch upon opening (skip the sugar), and if you...
