I was almost misled by the rating. . . When I first watched it, it only scored 4.2 points, so I didn’t have any hope at all. As a result, every dish is extremely authentic, and the taste is unparalleled anywhere else in China. Twice-cooked pork, spicy beef noodles, hot and sour soup, every dish we ordered was impeccable
Love, love, love this place. Best tofu I've had in DC, period. I always get the General Tso's crispy tofu and my husband always orders sesame tofu. There's not a lot of seating as most people seem to order takeout, but the service is great.
Little hole in the wall that is easily accessible along 14th Street, either walking distance from the nearby hotels or off the bus lines near Logan Circle and 14th St.Although there is a dining area they only do take out now. There is one chair to wait for your food, but it's easy to just wait outside for the 10 minutes it takes to make the dishes.Really delicious, super hot, and large portions. Great selection. I got the mapo tofu, it was on the spicier side than I normally...
