Unassuming building/dining area, but delicious sandwiches at an affordable price. I had the Manhattan melt - the bread was toasted perfectly and the portion of meats and other fillings was great.

Food and service are amazing. So much could be done with the atmosphere to make this an icon of DC. Definitely eat here if you are anywhere near. The Brooklyn on white with lettuce and tomatoes was the bomb.

There was a huge cockroach on the floor and everyone was pretending that it is not there. Apparently, it is not a safe place to eat at. It is not clean, possibly not inspected by repsective authorities. Besides, the noise from the huge freezer could cause a headache if you stay there for 10 minutes. I highly recommend the sanitary inspectors check this place.

Good place for a quick lunch. Specialty sandwiches and wraps, around $10, average size. Made while you watch, as in Subway style. Service is quick. I ordered the Farmer's Market sandwich, all veggies, quite tasty and fresh.

Tried it because it was close to our hotel and was very glad we tried it. We had breakfast and lunch on different days. All the food was very good. The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were low for the area. I would strongly recommend the Times Square breakfast for a great value.

Skip your hotel breakfast and come here. The grand central breakfast biscuit was delicious and had a biscuit that was definitely baked fresh that morning. All the staff were friendly and accommodating.
