Just happened on this deli while wandering around as tourists. Saw the lines of locals and realized this is where we want to eat. The ambiance is pure deli. Everything clean and appropriate. The food is solid. Everything tasted fresh and good: Simple and pure. We met the mom and pop owners who ended up realizing we were tourists and gave us pointers on what to see and how to order food in the region. Ended up chatting about life in general. Just above and beyond in terms of personalized kindness. So much so that I had to write my once in a decade review...

Happened to be driving through Washington and was hungry for some breakfast. Came across this place and it was so satisfying. Kept me going for my 11 hour drive back home.

Restaurant lacks updates but food is fantastic! We got the turkey club & manhattan subs. Both delicious and huge! Service was great, quick and attentive.

This place is the best; the breakfast meal (we personally recommend the Times Square) was amazingly tasty. It was only 8 dollars for eggs, bacon, a biscuit, AND home fries. We went for lunch as well and the employees greeted us with kindness as we got the club sandwich. When we walked out of the restaurant the employees all said goodbye happily. Also, the biscuits were generously coated with butter and were DELICIOUS!!! We highly recommend coming here. We give this place a 100 out of 5. If you're looking for a great place to eat, then come here. You're welcome!!

Fantastic, old-style, pre-gentrification deli on the ground floor of the FEMA building. Serves up breakfast and lunch - both well executed and at a great price - to a tourists and feds.
