Agora Dc Mediterranean Restaurant

I recently dined at Agora and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. As a former employee, I remember the restaurant being managed in a way that truly prioritized customer care and attention to detail. Unfortunately, during my recent visit, there were several areas that fell short of the high standards I recall.

We ordered additional items as part of the bottomless brunch, but before the food arrived, our plates and silverware were cleared away. When the food did come out, we had no silverware and had to request it —a detail that should have been
anticipated. I have to mention that we never got the silverware we requested.

Additionally, when a birthday dessert was brought out (a lovely touch), there was no fork provided for the baklava, leaving us wondering if this was an oversight or a new policy to eat it with your fingers.

Moreover, although there were six of us at the table, only two water glasses were filled, and we had to request more water for everyone else. The staff seemed unengaged and inattentive, which was disappointing and not what I remember from Agora.

We had a dinner tonight outside at Agora and Vedat was our server. We had a lovely time. He was a good sport about us having our dogs with us and made some great food recommendations. Wonderful experience—we’ll be back!

Today was such an amazing experience. my boyfriend and I came, and it was his first experience trying Mediterranean and he absolutely enjoyed it. Erick played such a huge role in our brunch and we couldn’t think him enough. His customer service was stellar and we would come back for him alone! Thank you Erick. We will recommend this restaurant and you as a server to everyone we know

Erick is the best server! As a server myself I’ve never had a server who was as accommodating as Erick. He is very kind and understanding. 11/10!!! Ask for Erick!

You have to come here and specifically ask for Erick! He is truly incredible and cares so much about your experience. He was so kind and explained everything to us so well! Truly a must in DC because of Erick!

Everything was amazing today! The service was great and we were treated very well for the whole brunch. We celebrated a bridal party and it was perfect! Thank you to the staff and to Eric!
