Al Tiramisu is one of my all time favorite restaurants in DC. The food is consistently delicious and we always enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend.

Al Tiramisu is always excellent. The service and the food have been top notch for over 25 years I have gone there consistently.

I can't tell you enough about this restaurant! Highly recommend you go! The food was amazing! Every course was perfect. The service was on point. Everyone was so friendly and always kept our glasses full. All the dishes were Flavorful and we couldn't have asked for a better meal! Highly recommend the chefs tasting menu! And the drinks were great! Try the homemade Negroni and Chocolatecello! So good!

Food was nice, service pretty good but not great when they tell you you've not given them enough tips. Thought tips was optional - USA really need to get away from this tipping culture. Wouldn't go again or recommend for this reason alone.

I used to live in Washington years ago and was a regular patron. Coming back to DC for a temporary job I was pleased to see Al Tiramisu still here and still serving great food in a perfect setting. Feels like coming home.

Beautiful small Italian restaurant in the heart of DuPont Circle. Pros: 1. Friendly manager lady smiling face which is awesome plus wait staff Roberto. 2. Observance as I like to have fresh new silverware after my Appetizer by busboy providing me new ones plus refilling our water. 3. Clean tidy cozy restaurant fabulous for dinner dates as decor very Italian background. Cons: 1. Extremely pricey cocktails 2. No wi-fi at restaurant which is a disappointment. 3. Only one bathroom for unisex. Best have 2nd bathroom. 4. Not wheelchair accessible place. 5. Outrageous price $55 for whole fish for special or Lobster selling price at $65 bucks. You can always get it much cheaper at Asian supermarket at seafood department for under $20 and grill fish or lobster yourself. 6. Website should announce their hours of operations plus when they are closed for long break between lunch and dinner. I called several times during afternoon but got recording which I didn't leave a message. 7. Additionally on website they should announce under the "direction" hyperlink there distance from the nearest metro station so patrons can plan accordingly than pay a premium for street or garage parking. 8. Train staff **NOT to wait**for all entrees of party to be delivered at once. I really **DISLIKE** having my hot entrees **lukewarm** as patrons love seeing the hot steam fresh off the stove when delivered to their assigned tables. My dish was ***just so-so** as it wasn't enough olive oil as the linguini pasta as dried with the baby calms warm not wicked hot. But, I didn't;t want to complain as good time. Wishlist to promote more business to this cozy beautiful restaurant. 1. Have weekly REAL HAPPY HOUR DEALS such as at least 4 discounted speciality cocktails for $10 bucks vs. regular price of $20 each or more plus at least 4 appetizers or house salad. This way promote restaurant during non-busy hours like from 5pm to 7pm daily as that's slow time for restaurants to pick up.

Al Tiramisu is a charming, cozy place. The service is excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew the menu well and could make recommendations. All of our entrees were beautifully prepared and tasted delicious. Our food came out promptly and nice and hot. We shared a tiramisu for dessert which was rich and creamy. We highly recommend this restaurant.

What a gem just steps from DuPont Circle! Each of us loved our entree. Our server recommended a wine special which was outstanding. Don't miss out on a limoncello martini if you have time to nurse a starter.

Hi, We have been going to Al Tiramisu for quiet some years now and it never disappoints. The quality of food, service of the staff, their attention to detail and the warmth of the people. No wonder we keep coming back again and again.

The welcome, the service and the food - fantastic. So lucky to enjoy this experience. Thank you. And yes. The vongole is world class.

We had an early dinner which we did on purpose to have a quiet dining experience. But soon the other patrons started arriving and the space is pretty small so the noise level went up significantly. Our food came quickly and was very good albeit perhaps somewhat bland in flavor. We probably would have gotten dessert but our waiter just sort of disappeared so finally another staff came over, we settled the bill and left. For a 35th wedding anniversary occasion it was very nice.

Love this place. The best linguine vongole I've had in the states. And the salmon with orange sauce and wedges was both different and excellent. We live in Maine but visit this restaurant whenever we're in town.

We visited Al Tiramisu at the suggestion of a DC local, whose opinion created very high expectations. Those high expectations were exceeded in every respect. From walking through the door and meeting the owner, to enjoying a cocktail at the bar through the incomparable dining experience, everything was A+++. The staff, the ambience, the freshness and quality of every dish reminded me of the finest local restaurants I've enjoyed in Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, and Umbria. I cannot wait to return.
