It is an ok place to eat, fod was decent. It was a very limited menu that seemed to be catered to inner city/urban millennials and Gen Z people. The service wasn't amazing and very hard to understand the waitress. The bookstore in here was cool so points for atmosphere. Overall, not a place i would go back to for the food.

My friend and I walked into Kramers All Day on a rainy Aprils 1st. We ordered two avocado toast, a Bellini and a matcha. The food came quickly and tasted pretty good, nothing above and beyond what you would expect an avocado toast to taste. The matcha was good and the Bellini well…it came towards the end of the meal and it was average. It looked like our server forgot about it because some other server came to our table area kind of looking for someone missing a drink. Our server never came back to our table again after we ordered our food and drinks. She NEVER checked back on us (she didn’t bring out our food). My friend and I got lost in a long conversation (about 2hrs) so I guess you can say no one would come and bother you about keeping a table if that’s what you want! LOL! Our server came back after all that time to give us our check (she didn’t offer anything else but the check).I had already decided to leave a poor tip because of the service. However, after we walked out of Kramers, I noticed that they automatically charged 5% for service fee, excuse me? So, I guess my server got a nice tip after doing half her job. April’s fool joke on me! Next time, I’ll make sure to triple check my receipt before tipping.

The waiters were not attentive. I was never checked on, had to ask for utensils 2x, and had to ask multiple times for my check. The food itself wasn’t good either. The Brussels sprouts were overly seasoned and couldn’t be eaten without water. The chicken sandwich was so… naked. It was literally just dry chicken in a bun next to overly seasoned fries. What a let down because I adore Kramers and thought how great it would be to have a place to sit down, eat, and read my new books. Ugh…

Stopped for a quick snack to eat in the sunny outdoor seating. Host ignored us, then sat us in shade where we had to strain to get any service at all. Bloody Mary tasted like a whole jar of ground pepper was dumped in, and the deviled eggs had no flavor whatsoever. We ended up asking a different service for our check, and the suggested tip amount was 30%! No thanks.

They serve good quality food, thou selection is limited. If you will consider desserts, please mind that some of them can be shared easily for four persons.

The idea of having a book store and a restaurant together is so cleaver. I enjoyed walking around the book store and then grabbing something to eat. First and foremost the truffle Mac and cheese was delicious. They used different blocks of cheese to enhance the flavor of the Mac and cheese and it was shareable. The cinnamon French toast was amazing as well! You didn't even need the syrup since the caramel brioche was added. It tasted like a cinnamon bun! The bacon was extra crunchy and the pizza was also favorable. I highly recommend this place for brunch; however, I don't think this place does bottomless mimosas. Overall love the flavors and I'd definitely would go again.

We just had drinks but it's much quieter and more laid back than most of the bars around DuPont circle.

Delicious casual eats with a nice menu that everyone will be able to find something they want to try. It does get crowded on the weekend so use the Open table app to easily book a table. Make sure to try the Italian soda we did the blueberry / vanilla sans alcohol and it is the most delicious thing!

My dream come true... a book store and restaurant in one! My first time at this iconic institution and I cannot wait to visit again. The food was tasty and came out quick. The have an all day breakfast menu which I thought was awesome. If you come on a nice day; ask for seating outdoors in their back patio!

I love that it's all day breakfast, and cute concept of bookstore/cafe. We went twice while on vacation. The first time it was a lot less busy and we found the quality to be better. The breakfast sandwich was ok, nothing special though the bacon was good. The salad was lovely though. The French toast was pretty good. Would get that again. Though it was definitely better the first time we went. The strawberry pomegranate soda was bomb! Most memorable item I got, and the desserts looked delicious. Just a note, my friend got the crab cream soup side and it was huge! Could have been a main, although she said it was good. Cute ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating
