All-Purpose Shaw Reviews
We are tourist & was searching for a place too eat since our first choice for dinner totally ignored us after we sat there 30 minutes we left. This pizza joint is absolutely delicious. The thin crust was delicious especially on the cheese pizza. The only negative thing I have too say is y’all charging too much for a house salad. I mean if you gonna charge $14 @ least give me something other than basic lettuce.
Soggy pizza. Too thin, couldn’t even remotely be called a thin crust. Just soggy. Disgusting. Flavors were AWFUL.

All-Purpose Shaw is a restaurant that offers a magical dining experience with its immaculate vibes and excellent service. Their garlic knots are a standout, featuring a flaky exterior and doughy interior, served with buttery sour cream. The pizzas, including the Vesuvio, Supremo, The Standard, and Sedgwick, are popular and known for their unbelievable crust. Guests appreciate how accommodating the staff is with pizza topping requests and enjoy the food's high-quality ingredients. Happy hour is a great deal, and the pickled cauliflower is a recommended side dish. The staff are cheery, friendly, and efficient, although there have been occasional delays in service. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a top 100 restaurant in D.C., according to Washingtonian 2024. It is recommended to make reservations for an evening visit. A pastry paired with blueberry jelly is also a highlight, and the dippies, especially the feta and volcano ranch, are a must-try. Visitors have noted the separate oven for gluten-free pizzas as a huge plus, and many leave satisfied after their meals.
