Great food with amazing service. Prices are cheaper then average on food and drinks. I highly recommend the Gaba-Wata for meat lovers.Vegetarian options: All the vegetarian dishes are cooked fresh daily. Quite amazing I recommend the vegetable combo for a traditional mix of different types of vegetarian food.

Very good taste of Ethiopia as far as I know. My first taste of this type of food. It was very good and we really enjoyed the meal. We had injerra bread... interesting and tasty. I am certain that you should give it a try if you are in DC. Do not miss out... your loss.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread.

The restaurant is gorgeous on the inside. Most of the seating is benches around a table to make the eating experience more communal and easier to share food. You want to share too, because the portions are large and everything was delicious. We had the mixed vegetable platter. It was a showcase of different flavors all beautifully spiced. Service was very hospitable and the owner even checked in on us and thanked us personally for stopping in.

This place was amazing, and the owner went way above and beyond, and out of his way to make a dinner for me even after the kitchen was closed. The food is amazing. The customer service is amazing and you’ll be lucky if you get the chance to eat here! the lighting in the music and people are all very cool and creative, the ambience is very indicative of the customer service that they have here. Definitely check it out in the area.

Really good food... Service is a little strange but very authentic and reasonable price
Super nice people, amazing Ethiopian food, really laid-back vibe. They blended the sports bar with Ethiopian restaurant in a really cool way. Will always come back.

Go here for an Ethiopian hookah lounge with an unsuspecting door front with okay food. Felt like I couldn't breathe after a few minutes and got takeout. Go to Habesha a few doors down for much better food quality+ quantity and air quality.

Everyone was very friendly & hospitable; the staff & the customers. It was very thoughtful to ask if I was familiar with Ethiopian cuisine when I ordered...I got the shiro which arrived still bubbling in a preheated clay pot. It also came with a simple, traditional salad. It was delicious, exactly what I was hoping for. The flavor was excellent & authentic as well as the consistency. It was a very good value and I'm looking forward to my next visit! It is a sports bar so expect it to be a bit loud. This was just fine with me, I enjoyed the lively mood and the Ethiopian music playing. The favor seemed a bit mismatched; not what I would expect for any Ethiopian restaurant or a sports bar but it was pleasant nonetheless.Vegetarian options: There should be enough options for any vegetarian to find something to suit their palate.Parking: This area is virtually always busy & congested and parking is quite limited. I believe there is a garage in the area...Kid-friendliness: This is a sports bar; so, not exactly kid-friendly.
