I don't suggest Amsterdam DC. All I asked for was an itemized list of my drinks. They brought me the bill. I again asked for an itemized list of my drinks. I like to double check my order. Especially, since I ordered the same drinks earlier and it cost $30 less. The bartender said I needed to speak with the owner. Whomever I spoke with told me to leave the restaurant and refused to give me my itemized receipt. He continued to wave his hands back and forth and be disrespectful. Even stated you just want your money back. I said, "no, I just want my itemized list of drinks." I again stated, I just want the itemized list of my order. He then told me to leave because I was just trying to get free drinks. Please note, I have no problem paying for my drinks. I just wanted the list because I always get it when I go to bars. I've had too many encounters where I've been charged or double charged and they simple brought the bill for me to sign without looking at it. It was extremely disrespectful and I do not suggest anyone go there. They even told me they couldn't give itemized lists when I had received one before. Simply seemed like a shady business practice and disrespectful.

Met a friend here on a Saturday @8pm. The lounge must have just opened up. Free to get in . We sat upstairs , able to get our own couch section. It was happy hour , so I got some burger sliders that came with fries. Burgers were pretty big to be sliders and fries were good A DJ was spining music of today. It got progressively louder as the night went on. Bathrooms were sizeable for personal space Place is almost next door to U street metro

This place needs to be shut down ASAP. The management has no regard for the people's safety, and even more disturbingly, lives. An innocent 22 year old murdered by someone on the club's own security team and they taking part in the cover up! Smh!
Their security is part of a Murder cover up that happened on their property committed by one of their security guards! Not a safe place!

The security guard Vonte was very aggressive and harassing patrons, including a friend of mine. There is written proof of him verbally harassing her through text. She vehemently refused his advances. He is cited, with proof, as saying that he is happy that her mother is dead and encouraged her to commit suicide. This is unacceptable. Until he is permanently removed from the establishment, and she is issued an apology, myself and anyone I know will not be returning.
