Come here all the time. The staff knows me by name and always has recommendations for new wines to try. They also offer special events like wine tastings and once a month they do a drag queen hosted trivia night with prizes. The menu is geared to be well paired with wines. 5/5. Love Barkada. Best spot in DC for natural wines.
Every time I’m here I feel so chic and cute, the atmosphere is sophisticated and cute.Make sure to make a reservation bc it can get pretty busy on weekdaysThere’s no other queer natural wine bar in all of dc so if you’re looking for a special date night atmosphere or a cozy place to study or work this is where I would recommend. 10/10

Barkada hosted our private event and we were awestruck by the level of detail and care put into every element of our night. The atmosphere was chic and inviting, the drinks were delicious and unique, and we absolutely loved getting to know the professionals who made it all happen. I wholeheartedly recommend this space to anyone who wants to have a memorable event. We will definitely be back—we could not love this place more!!
