Unique gem among several Mexican restaurants within a few blocks. Anafre offers a refreshing seafood tilt to widely known Mexican fare. Their food is unique, well presented, and super tasty. My husband loves Mexican cuisine, and my friend who lives in the area recommended this place for our weekend trip to DC. It wasn't packed, so we were seated right away. They had great old school R and B playing, which we really enjoyed. They have a great selection of seafood, which I loved. I ordered the crab and lobster guacamole starter. Two of us had seafod enchiladas, one seafood wrap, and my husband had steak and yucca fries. He said that his steak was cooked perfectly...

The service was good. The food came out quickly and the servers were really nice. The food is just ok. Probably a good place to come to if you’re looking for a quick bite but nothing serious. The prices were good too.
