We went to Annabelle's to celebrate my Birthday on Dec. 20th and what an awesome time we had! Started off at the Bar with great tasting Cocktails by Kevin, an intensely friendly and knowledgeable Mixologist! $30 glass of house Cabernet, beet salad with escarole as 80% of the salad not listed as an ingredient , wimpy is the best word for this dish, Pate was whipped smooth and pasty. I was stunned how ordinary this food was. Decent atmosphere and service was fine.
Super food, service and ambience. So nice to go to a restaurant that brings out the best in ingredients. Menu has something for everyone. Smoked beet salad was delicious and imaginative, lasagnette, clever and rich without being heavy. Such a treat and lovely to go to a restaurant and not have to “speak with raised voice.”
