This place is sooo good. Since it opened, it has never failed us. These are authentic Mexican tacos that give you umami taste. Sweet bread is also exquisite although a little expensive, but it'sthe only the little dictator likes, so we pay the price. Best chilaquiles in town. We love this place!

Best tacos in DC, hands down. As a Mexican native, I can confidently say this is definitely the best and least pretentious taqueria I’ve found in all of DC (Then is Chicatana in Columbia Heights). Tacos are very good, and they’ve many options. I tried the mushroom one too (for my vegan friends) and liked them. They also make their tortillas by hand, and on site! Saw them with my very own eyes.

a favorite of mine! I love their housemade salsas too. Generous guac and amazing flavors! The crispy mushroom tacos are so good, so different than mushroom tacos at other restaurants. They are lightly fried, but not overly. Perfect! There are always people there and yet food comes out quickly.

My favorite tacos in DC by far! I live around the corner and love this place, super fresh tacos, handmade tortillas, and all their sauces are made from scratch. Love, love, love! They also have conchas if you’ve got a sweet tooth, and they’re really good too. 🌮❤️

Some of the best tacos I’ve had in DC. The suadero and the gringa are stand outs. Flavorful meats, good tortillas and great salsas.
Unlike many taco places in DC that overdress their tacos with unnecessary garnishes, Apapacho clearly trusts the flavor of their meats and tortillas to shine through, only adding elements that enhance the flavor of those.
Friendly service too and the space is nicely decorated and very clean.

The food here is great I go here all the time, but I’ve noticed one of the cashiers there he brings the experience down. He doesn’t seem to take his job seriously and his attitude sometimes just isn’t right. Almost all of the crew is super nice and attentive except unfortunately sometimes the guy that’s at the cashier.
