We were there on new year day when other restaurants in the area were closed. We were immediately seated in this big restaurant. The server was very friendly and attentive to us.
- chicken pad thai: good. The noodle was perfectly cooked and chewy. The sauce was good but it could had more tamarind in it. There were lots of chicken & egg pieces too.
- kapow on rice: very good. The dish was a bit spicy. The ground meat was well seasoned and the sauce was not overly salty and very umami. The portion was quite generous too.

Really great food for a good price!! Loved the orange chicken and the hibiscus lemonade! No wait time at all either.
We stopped in for dinner and the place was empty (1st red flag). The restaurant inside is absolutely beautiful and spacious but for some reason, they sat us right next to the only other couple in the place. When I say right next to, I mean we shared a part of a booth. It was really odd. The menu had a wide variety of options but to me, the menu didn’t make sense. There were “dinner “ options but the dinner option didn’t come with anything extra. I ordered the crab fried rice but that was literally all the dinner came with. When we were seated, we were given about a minute before we were asked what we wanted. It all felt very rushed. It was like we wanted to apologize for coming in for dinner. At the end of the, there was no fortune cookie for us. 😂 Maybe there was no one in there because there liquor license had been suspended. I’m not sure why but my wife said there was a notice on the door. Don’t get me wrong the food was delicious. Just get it to go or do door dash. Don’t expect a fortune cookie tho.

My school was here for our eighth grade DC trip and they had a fully nude drag ceremony that was very inappropriate for young teenagers. The food wasn’t good either and it scarred lots of people. It also was a very long wait!

I had the yellow curry with chicken and a thai tea. My boyfriend has a korean beef dish that I'm sure was similar to bulgogi and he also had thai tea. I will say that my yellow curry was some of the best I've ever had (I've had a lot from many different restaurants). There was a peanut flavor to it and it was really creamy. I would stay away from it if you have a peanut allergy, but overall it was really good.

Food squarely in the B to B+ range.
I have a personal peev about a restaurant that can't figure out how to handle a table when they have no one in the restaurant and give crappy service.
It's simply ridiculous and a reflection of bad management.
Aside: they actively advertise happy hour outside with signs on the street and when you are seated you receive a menu that details happy hour pricing.
However, when you go to order off a happy hour options they say you can only get that in the bar.
That's just silly .... Why make the customers jump through hoops?

absolutely loved this place, I’ve relocated to Richmond but will definitely be back just for this restaurant. I suggest getting the sizzling beef entree.

My wife and I stopped here on a whim looking for a thai restaurant right before they were closing but all the staff were great, didn't rush us at all and were very receptive. Food tasted fresh, was served quickly and portions (again especially before closing) were very reasonable. Pleasantly surprised
Don't feel like this restaurant has been given enough credit and deserves a better rating!
