Asia Nine is a solid spot downtown if you’re craving Asian fusion. Big menu with lots of options — I had the crispy basil chicken and it hit the spot. Fun vibe, good drinks, and easy location for grabbing dinner before a show. Can get a little loud when packed, but overall a reliable go-to.
The food was tasty and the service was friendly. It’s a nice spot to have some decent Thai food in downtown D.C. The Thai Basil rice is literal fire and our favorite dish we had!
My partner and I stopped here for a great lunch. Food was fresh and delicious, and staff were quick and friendly. It may seem a little dead on the weekend - I imagine this is because they get a lot of weekday business from the federal buildings nearby, and it’s not a great place for foot traffic otherwise.
