Absolutely delicious Szechuan food! Every dish was full of bold, authentic flavor, with just the right amount of heat. I brought my kids here and they loved the red braised pork—it was a huge hit with them. The customer service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Prices are on par with other restaurants of a similar caliber in DC, which feels fair for the quality you’re getting. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back if we can get another early dinner reservation!

I had a great time here. The food was delicious and a bit spicy; if you like that, definitely try what we ordered. We got super full, and the drinks were perfect. Service was a little slow due to the busy night. For a better experience, I recommend coming in a group of 3 or 4 to get a booth table instead of the small side tables. We had the beef noodles, chili wontons, and chimichurri. I’ll definitely be back!

This is one of my fav Sichuan restaurants in DC. Last evening, the meal was pretty good and most of the dishes were as expected but the crab fried rice was disappointing.

My father took my wife and I out to Astoria for a late birthday dinner. It is difficult getting a reservation to this place mainly because they only allow you to book one week out. Luckily we were able to get a reservation. We ordered a bunch of items and share them all which is probably the best way to go. The dishes that stood out were the beef noodles, walnut shrimp, and chili wonton. If you tell them your preferred flavors, they can curate the perfect Mock-tail or cocktail for you. Their drinks were amazing. We had a great experience and our excited to go back again. This is in addition to the staff being fantastic. Parking is tough and the restaurant is small, which makes it a little bit more exclusive.

Overall disappointing - the food was *fine* but expensive for its portion size and the service was very slow, took about an hour to get any food. 30 dollars for a small beef noodle dish? The economics just don’t add up.

They are also cashing in on the “outdoor patio” in November without insulation from cold (all the restaurants on the same block have plastic wrapping to keep their guest warm) - the overhead heat lamp does not cut it. Bluntly, it’s irresponsible to put people out in the cold without a warning and smells like profit maximization.

Phenomenal food - some of the best Chinese I’ve had in a while.

The hand pulled beef noodles were the highlight, so outstanding. The meat was cooked like a perfect steak and the noodles were the perfect texture and flavor.

The Dan Dan noodles were also very tasty. The cumin lamb was probably our least favorite but still greatly enjoyed.

This is truly one of the best restaurants in DC, every time I go it is a banger. You must try their salt and pepper eggplant and Dan Dan noodles. The vegan noodles are delicious as well. Not only are their food and drinks phenomenal the staff is a delight! From the hostess, bartenders, and waiters, everyone is friendly and quick. Thank you Jason for the excellent service tonight!
