great bottomless mimosas and omelets! excellent service and so pleased staff responded to my request to reduce the music volume a bit.

The bartender was the only person in the bar the entire time we ate, but the burgers were great and the drinks were good. Thank you for having some mocktail options! Easy and chill place to get dinner before a show at the 9:30 club.

We went there to celebrate My Husband's birthday and we had a terrific time and delicious food

The food here was really amazing. The French toast supremo is great, and the fruit was incredibly fresh. I went with a group of friends for brunch, and everything was also priced really well. They have a great deal for unlimited mimosas. The only downside on the day we went was the speed of service was incredibly slow. I’m not sure if they were having an off day, but the restaurant was barely filled when we first got there (about three tables ahead of us), and we waited close to 45 minutes for our food (for 5 people). Our server also was not super present when we needed refills.

I am giving four stars though because the manager was incredibly apologetic, comped items off our bill, and gave us a free round of shots. So, shoutout to the manager on duty that day.

We had a lovely dinner, but upstairs was very loud. The combo of crowd voices and loud music made it hard to have a conversation. Drinks were great and fries very tasty. Really enjoyed the Brussell sprouts! Service was good and server very friendly, but felt like she was really in the weeds and therefore unable to pay as much attention to us as she would have liked. But others stepped in to help when she was unable to, so your team was working well together.

Excellent food, especially the Cubano and the ceviche. Drinks were great too, love that the happy hour is 6-8. Bartender was a great dude.

Went here on recommendations of friends.

Not really a Hemingway bar.

Was more nightclub aspirations with a DJ playing music a little too loud.

Good service and bartenders buy they literally lost themselves in the crowd with the too loud DJ and boring drink menu.

Mandatory 20% service charge when the bill arrived on top of everything left a bad taste in my mouth and took it from a place id come back to... To a place I would recommend to avoid.

Great location and theme... Please fix it.

There's only about six entrees on the menu, and we were informed they were out of three of them...only AFTER we'd already started on our drinks and an appetizer. But what really made a bad impression was what Bar Pilar claimed was a Cubano sandwich that came served with *American cheese* and *barbecue sauce*. There's just too many better options in the neighborhood to return to or recommend this one. (Cocktails were good, though.)

Basic American food so burgers, fries, etc. Portion sizes are huge so you can share.

Parking: It's a popular area so just don't drive there

I used to speak very highly of bar Pilar, but like most of the places on 15th Street, the success of the neighborhood has gone to their head.

Their cocktails are priced as premium, but are, in most cases, pre-mixed drinks served in plastic picnic cups. More like "mixed drinks" than cocktails, fit for a darty not a restaurant that considers itself worthy of 18 dollar drink prices.

A far cry from the carefully prepared and well-presented options in 2021. Sad.

The next door neighbor jackhammering. Manager went next door and it stopped. Excellent customer service. Tasty food.

Gin and tonic was so overly sweet that I put water in it to try and tone it down. There was no rescuing the Cubano—they put BARBECUE pulled pork on it, which was just horrendous. Then the fries were way too salty. ? Other things my group ordered seemed fine, (guacamole, patatas bravas, ceviche), but I won’t be back.

The menu should be more descriptive and maybe add a couple appetizer dishes for tables to share. I also encourage the restaurant to place condiments on table, but it was a great establishment and I will revisit.
