Kumquat lemon passion fruit drink is the grossest drink I ever drink.

The staff were super nice and helpful and made sure I liked my boba. Would recommend to anyone who likes boba.

Lady who works on the registry tried my drink and sticked her dirty fingers in my drink. She was very rude as well. Drinks are overpriced and gross, I don’t recommend coming here!

Had a boba craving kick in while visiting Georgetown, so we found our way to BeauTea. Though we are not knew to the BeauTea chain, this was our first time visiting this location. Our drinks were crafted well and tasted good. Service was efficient and the woman working the counter and making the drinks patiently answered questions that we posed. Once our order was placed she was quick to put them together. The inside space was clean with a few tables available for patrons to enjoy their drinks in the establishment. We did have a little trouble finding the entrance and building as the signage wasn't immediately clear where they were located. Also, at the time of our visit, they were only taking orders through the self-service kiosk. This was not a problem for us, but if you are a little technology-phobic, just be aware that the staff was not taking orders and you had to do so through the kiosk on your own. We ended up trying the Taro Milk Tea and Rose Honey Milk Tea. The Taro Milk Tea was classic and tasted exactly as we expected. The Rose Honey Milk Tea was unique and tasted so refreshing, especially on a warm, humid afternoon. This was my first time tasting this drink and I loved it. The boba was a nice addition to the Rose Honey Milk Tea. Not too sweet and a good texture. BeauTea in Georgetown is a solid location to get your bubble tea/boba fix. They even had some boozy options/additions if that's your cup of tea (hehe).

The boba tea doesn't even look like the one on the menu :(

The service was nice and the store was clean, but the bubble tea was somewhat mediocre. Got the kumquat passion fruit tea and it was a bit watery; I usually order 50% sugar, so I could have just needed to order 100%. Might come back to give the milk tea a try but wouldn't get the fruit tea again.

Drink was mediocre at best but what's worse is that the cashier was playing dumb on me when I asked her to ease on the ingredients and can drop the whole thing if needed, she told me that she could not do it any less. Excuse me mz, I tipped you and was helping you save your ingredients. When I asked her about the Wi-Fi passcode, she lied outright saying that's she does not know for the Wi-Fi is only for the checkout systems, while using Wi-Fi on her own devices. You don't have the least respect at this place at all. Overall won't come back again or recommend to other people.

Delicious and high quality Boba tea, the staff wasn't very smiling. However this is a great shop.

Friendly staff. Very clean and cute ambiance. Boba itself was fresh, but milk tea tasted watery. Very used to California boba and this was not the same.

The restaurant is located on the first floor, up a set of stairs and to the right. One should order at the kiosk and they'll call your order. While the pearls/boba are of good quality and perfectly squishy, the tea (I got the peach oolong) didn't taste the best. They do charge extra for non-dairy options, which is a little disappointing. The store itself is set up quite nicely and has lots of seating area for pairs and a booth by the entrance. It is also interesting to note that all drinks have the option of adding a shot of tequila or vodka for $3 which is quite interesting

If you are looking for the BEST BOBA of DC- please go here! I am a from the SF bay area- i know my freaking boba and i can guarantee you, this place is it! they even offer alcohol in your drink, which i didn't try but i thought was pretty cool. The drink came out pretty quick, we just ordered on the huge ipad machine (but there is someone there to take your order as well). Perfect spot in Georgetown, right by the Potomac river. Drinks were incredibly refreshing and the perfect balance of tea and sweetness. Shop is very clean and comfy enough to hangout and enjoy your drink. upstairs is a bomb ass restaurant that you have to check out. 100% will be returning

Warning: owner/employee may be racist- I am an employee near the area at a restaurant, me as well as my other coworkers of color were denied service. The owner told me that they were temporarily closed right after handing other people (of different skin color) they're drinks. The same thing was done to my other coworkers of color, they were either told that they didnt have ingredients, that they can't take our order so we must use the machine, or we were lied to and told that the shop was "temporarily closed", right after i left the shop ,I sent are other coworker who is Hispanic and has fairly lighter skin to test the theory. As I thought, he did not hesitate to provide her service. It's very disheartening that we still have to deal with stuff like this in DC of all places.

The tea is not very good but I mainly come here for the atmosphere. It's a good place to meet friends.Dietary restrictions: Almond milk and other dairy free options.
