Interesting, imaginative menu and wonderful service. Our food was fantastic -the fresh tagliatelle pasta with lump crab, meyer lemon and garlic chive butter was superb! And the Belgian beef stew and frites also highly recommended. I need to come back soon for the gin and tonic oysters.

Eggselent! We all enjoyed the unique and delicious green eggs (and bacon not ham 😉) with spinach and gruyere cheese. So tasty and healthful! We will be back!

Wonderful food atmosphere and service. The mussels were extraordinary. One of my party had never been and it was great to introduce Belga Cafe to her.

We've been there for dinner twice already, but this was the first Brunch experience. Everything was fantastic.

Wonderful restaurant with a neighborhood vive, or a treat for guests. Service very good. First time I tried the strawberry salad - very nice.

The Belga Cafe delivers an exceptional and complete dining experience, blending genuinely warm hospitality. The entire staff was knowledgeable, and graceful—ensuring the service was impeccably timed from start to finish. While every dish was remarkable, the signature “slow-roasted duck confit. It's not just a meal, but an unforgettable occasion, and we highly recommend

Had a fantastic dinner while waiting on a show. Presentation was fantastic and tasteful. Our food was delicious. The beer selection in particular is expansive and has numerous great choices. We would love to return to Belga for another meal.

Belga is one of my favorite places for brunch in DC. The food is always superb and the wait staff most attentive. I highly recommend!

Belga Café brings the best of Brussels to Capitol Hill 🇧🇪✨. Cozy and stylish, it’s known for hearty Belgian classics — from moules frites and croquettes to rich stews and decadent waffles. Pair it with one of their many Belgian beers, and you’ve got comfort and elegance in every bite 🍟🍺💎.

I used to live on C Street, Capitol Hill, for a while, and this spot was so convenient for a casual dinner night 🌆🍴. The vibe is warm and lively, service is friendly, and it always felt like a little European escape right in DC. A true neighborhood gem with Belgian soul.

Great food and service and excellent brunch menu. Must try the waffles and also try their speakeasy out back called The Betsy.

It had been a while since we ate at Belga, only because ever since COVID, we don't eat out as much, and there are more choices near our house now. But we had always had great meals at Belga and decided to have brunch there to celebrate our wedding anniversary this past Sunday. The food and service were excellent and we said we would definitely go back. Belga has been around for 20 years now, and that alone should tell you something. It remains one of the crown jewels of dining out on Capitol Hill. And their Thanksgiving meals to take out and warm up at home are amazing.

We made a reservation for the patio early in the day. When we arrived they had no table for us. Set up a table in front of the next for door storefront, away several feet away from the restaurant. We felt like second class citizen sit apart from other customers. Unacceptalbe

Delicious and flavorful, this lovely Belgian restaurant never fails to disappoint. While the Moules and frites are always delicious, the seasonal selections including the Tomato Tart, Snapper with a fresh vegetable coulis and Peach Melba were superb. Enjoyed a lovely evening dining with friends at this lively spot
