This is not open to the public and should be made clear that it isn't. Only people who work in the convention center can eat here unless it is a special event. We ubered here to be told no.

I'm not sure if that's the same standard that some food reviewers shared. It was okay, not too shabby, but pricey for that quality and taste.

Very good hot dogs and chili. The cashier even gifted my daughter a chocolate milkshake.

I ordered the vegan dog with vegetarian chili and cheese. I got the same on my regular size fries. The food was good but expensive. I spent over $22 for the dog and fries... Without a drink.

I've been wanting to try this place and had the chance today, 6/27/25. It was busy but not too busy where you can walk up to the counter and order from the friendly staff. As someone who loves to eat/cook chili, I was satisfied with the beef chili but wouldn't return. Just caused I had better chili elsewhere but everyone has different tastes when it comes to Chilli.

I went to the location at the Washington Convention Center. I love unique local eateries and had looked forward to trying Ben's. As for the food, it was quite good. The half smoke was tasty, cooked well, and the chili was a good amount without overpowering the dog. Fries were fresh from the frier and quite tasty. Even so, to charge $23 for this is ridiculous. It was maybe a $12-15 meal. Not only was the drink alone $5.50, but they balked at giving me a refill. Thankfully a manager ok'd it. If it was about $10 less, I'd go back, but not at these prices.

This location is in a secured building that is not open to the public and shouldn’t even be listed in Google Maps

Fun spot. Good food. Don’t think I need to go more than once though. The restaurant is not very clean.

Super overpriced. Burgers are dry, overcooked, and tasteless, as are the fries. No milkshakes even though the sign states that there are. Waste of money.

This location is inside the convention center and open during conventions only. The listing pictures of the storefront don’t match what’s actually there.
Sadly, an ingredient was in the food that was not mentioned - beans. Highly allergic. Would have been nice since all the other ingredients were listed. Waste of money and time and no dinner.
Did not disappoint! The history of this restaurant is amazing. The food is amazing as well. Loved the old style ambience which brought me back to my younger years of restaurants in this style from the 70’s. The original half smoke and the turkey chili were awesome.
