We cannot visit DC without a visit to Bistrot. It was New Years Eve, but no fixed menu. We ordered a la carte, we both had the escargots, for entrees, the Fillet Cooked to perfection and the Mussels with frites. Pear Belle Helene for desserts. We got back in time to see the ball drop NYC
Very friendly and attentive servers. We had two toddlers in our group and we felt very welcome. Other than the Vichyssoise salad, which could have used more dressing, all our food was outstanding. We had the roquefort and beet salads, ravioli in cream sauce, trout almandine, sides of mushrooms with herbs, and the multigrain pilaf, all delicious. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good fancy food in a place with a relaxed ambiance. The prices are on the high side,...
Escargot and Salad Nicoise were perfect starters! Earlier in the week I had the mussels in curry sauce and that was also fabulous. We also loved the steak and roasted chicken we had! Service was great as well!
