The food quality is very good at Black Salt. There were at least 5 items not listed on the regular menu which were also available for dinner. We liked the fact that several choices were seasonal in nature- which allowed those items to be available.

We had never been to this restaurant, but the reviews were great. Driving up, it is not a place that stands out as it looks like a fish market. However, we were thrilled with our experience. The sommelier was outstanding - he definitely paired our wine with our meal and our price range. He was attentive and returned frequently to check in. The waiter, as well was outstanding. Blacksalt was extremely accommodating to our party of 4 last night. We had one additional guest we were not expecting and the host quickly relocated our party to a larger table. We had an early reservation in order to leave for a concert. The kitchen staff was informed and everything was smooth and efficient. Special thanks Andrea and her team for all the service.
