We always come here before going to see Washington Stage Guild performances at the Undercroft Theatre, a little farther down the block. The food is always delicious , the service excellent and the setting lovely. Perfect !
My friend and I caught up after a long time and this was perfect place for that. Food was excellent. We were however disappointed with tea. This was a high tea, but tea was very weak. We asked the waiter for more bags and he said they were $5 each!! There was no coffee. The service was very poor may be because one person was handling multiple duties. We did have good time chit chatting and enjoyed the food.
This was a delightful way to have brunch with the person I love, and I would highly recommend it. The food was wonderful and a great value for the price; I wasn't even able to finish everything I was provided.
