Great coffee shop. This has been my third location that I've been to just for their coffee, in NYC. Coffee is always well made with plenty of options. Typical a quiet spot if you want to be on your laptop or just to hang out and focus. Service is awesome! Love how diverse the staff is and how sweet they are all. It gets pretty busy during mid day but the lines disappear pretty quickly if you don't mind a short wait.

One of the better coffee shops in the US has arrived in Georgetown. It's a little SF caffeine injection in DC. A clean lined - modern yet austere locale has plenty of seating just up from the canal. The pours are on the smaller side. I traditionally go for the iced in the summer and a pour over in the winter, but here I enjoyed the cappuccino - very rich, complex, yet smooth. Since the place is brand new, there may be an extended wait for the near future. Definitively worth the stop if you're wandering along M St.

I like them Matcha ?
Their matcha is stellar. Their black cardamom latte is stellar. Anything caffeinated is going to be a showstopper. The location and atmosphere could not possibly be better. Plenty of electrical outlets for productivity, but I will say that their wifi was woefully slow, so much that it was unusable.
Some of their food options fall flat, I suspect in an effort to be as healthy as possible. Even as a person much more salt-averse than the average American, the avocado toast desperately needed salt.

Besides the too cool attitude and slow service you can enjoy the dirty tables and overflowing garbage cans

Stopped in and tried their new foam matcha. Service was ok and was the drink. They have different flavors to choice from. I usually get the Nola and prefer that

Idk what happens to the shop in Georgetown, it used to have one of the best coffee in dmv (flavor/texture/temperature/art…) but the drinks we got in recent weeks are so disappointing!!! super dry bubble/foam, which of course no latte art. And the temperature is so hot that can burn your tongue! Everything is poorly made into one cup. Very sad !
I got the Nola style coffee. It was good, but it wasn’t hot, served very lukewarm. At those prices, I’d like my coffee hot! It was way too crowded inside. I don’t know how people wanted to sit inside and study/work.

If you come here like me after having a bad experience at the DMV without knowing that this is a hipster coffee chain, just know that they “don’t do vanilla lattes here” and your to-go iced coffee will be given to you in a paper cup without a lid (and none were available). I might’ve had a little crying session outside because this was the final straw in a bad day. Thanks, Blue Bottle.
