My firends and I went there after an exhausting kayaking trip. We were thirsty, tired and willing to eat a horse for lunch. My friend suggested the place as we were walking by. I find it a classy and upbeat with excellent location in the heart of Georgetown-- just opposite to Georgetown Cupcakes. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. One of the waiters was a total jerk, but then his shift was over and was replaced by a nicer waitress.I will go again for Sunday brunch.
Finding authentic German or Austrian food can be a challenge, but Kafe Leopold hits the spot on the authentic West European tastes. I got the veal schnitzel, which was really flavorful and juicy, but if I had one critique, it would be to cut down on the amount of oil, as the edges of the schnitizel felt oily at times. I had such a good time visiting Kade Leopolds. The service was incredible from the start to finish, Boom took such good care of us at the bar. She is a true joy to talk to and she made us some incredible drinks. We specifically loved the branzino.10/10 would recommend
