Delicious food, the waiter was so friendly and the weather was so great so the doors were open which gave the place a great vibe. Plan on coming back!

Mediocre food for the price but mainly terrible management! Guys is rude and entitled. Please take your money elsewhere.

I had such a good time visiting Kade Leopolds. The service was incredible from the start to finish, Boom took such good care of us at the bar. She is a true joy to talk to and she made us some incredible drinks. We specifically loved the branzino.10/10 would recommend

Several locals recommended this spot to me during my stay in the D.C. area. To my surprise I received possibly the worst service and dining experience I have ever experienced. The employees were extremely rude and snubbed their nose at my friend and I for asking questions about the menu and for recommendations on wine pairings. After or server realized we were only there to enjoy desserts and cocktails we practically did not see her the rest of the experience and had to practically hunt her down just to settle our tab. The puff pastry used in the profiteroles was tough and seemed as if it were a few days old. The restaurant has some incredible wine selections but the staffs lack of knowledge and/or lack of care makes for an unpleasant experience overall. Truth be told I have received better quality service at a McDonalds than I did at this establishment and for that price point is completely unacceptable.

My firends and I went there after an exhausting kayaking trip. We were thirsty, tired and willing to eat a horse for lunch. My friend suggested the place as we were walking by. I find it a classy and upbeat with excellent location in the heart of Georgetown-- just opposite to Georgetown Cupcakes. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. One of the waiters was a total jerk, but then his shift was over and was replaced by a nicer waitress.I will go again for Sunday brunch.

Food was below average and overpriced. Poached eggs were overcooked, and when we gave that feedback to the serving lady, she repetitively argued that it's supposed to be like that. Also, she wasn't happy with the tip she received and was arguing about that as well. The service staff need better training. The kitchen needs to improve their standards or change the menu. The sichuan peppers with the fried polenta was a terrible combo, and the meal was dry and without any sauce or greens.

Extremely poor service with the serving lady asking for more tip. The serving lady was not informed about the menu. She was argumentative and defensive.Poached eggs were overcooked to the point of the yolk being hardFried polenta tasted like egg shells and there was no sauce to go with it

Finding authentic German or Austrian food can be a challenge, but Kafe Leopold hits the spot on the authentic West European tastes. I got the veal schnitzel, which was really flavorful and juicy, but if I had one critique, it would be to cut down on the amount of oil, as the edges of the schnitizel felt oily at times. The potatoes had a nice rustic taste to them as if they were grown on the farm. Also, the schnitzel complemented really well with the lingonberries.Coffee was pretty good, and had a strong roast. They gave me free chocolate and water with the coffee, which made the restaurant experience a lot more pleasant. In terms of desserts, however, I was a bit disappointed to find the desserts hidden away at the bakery, and would prefer if the waiter offered the bakery as a recommendation, and again, they offered more options for nut-free desserts, but at least a perk is that our server was careful about nut allergies.Overall, I would definitely come back here again and recommend this place to others. The service and atmosphere was great and made me feel really comfortable. Prices are pretty typical to what you would get in the Georgetown area, about $20-$30.

Place says they open at 8am but came on a holiday with my family hoping that it was not to crowded. We arrived right at open and were welcomed in the restaurant. However they clearly need to open at 9am. They were not prepared to cook anything. Only had drinks, despite advertising brunch. Nothing was ready until 9.
